Alternative Uses and Benefits of Construction Gypsum Powder in Building Materials
7. Some factories and households use a small amount of C cellulose mixed into hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose ether, and when the aqueous solution of C cellulose meets with tin, silver, aluminum, lead, iron, copper and some heavy metals, precipitation reaction will occur; When c-cellulose aqueous solution coexists with calcium, magnesium and salt, it will not produce precipitation, but will reduce the viscosity of c-cellulose aqueous solution.
The gel temperature of MHEC is higher, generally the gel temperature can reach about 78-85 ℃; while the gel temperature of HPMC is generally about 60-75 ℃, so HPMC is not as effective as MHEC in high temperature resistance. This is the main reason why many customers in hot areas choose MHEC.
Enhanced adhesion to the masonry surface, increased water retention, and thus mortar strength.
Improved lubricity and plasticity for better workability and easier, time-saving, and cost-efficient application of mortars made with guaranteed cellulose ethers.
A special high water retention version is available for highly absorbent bricks.
