Chemical HPMC and its applications in pharmaceutical and construction industries.
The tiling method currently widely used in Europe is the so-called thin-layer bonding method, that is, a toothed spatula is used to scrape the polymer-modified tile adhesive batch on the surface of the base layer to be tiled in advance to form raised stripes and uniform thickness of mortar layer, then press the tile on top of it and twist slightly, the thickness of the mortar layer is about 2 to 4 mm . Due to the modification effect of cellulose ether and redispersible polymer powder, the use of this tile adhesive has good bonding properties to different types of base layers and surface layers including fully vitrified tiles with extremely low water absorption. Good flexibility to absorb stress due to temperature differences, etc., and excellent sag resistance, long enough open time to greatly speed up application in thin layers, easy handling and no need to pre-wet the tiles in water. This construction method is easy to operate and easy to carry out on-site construction quality control.
Extends shelf life by preventing solids from settling. Excellent compatibility with other ingredients and high bio-stability.
Fast dissolving and mass-free, helping to simplify the mixing process. Cold water dispersion of the model product allows for quick and easy mixing without agglomeration.
Produces good flow characteristics including low splash and good leveling to ensure a good surface finish and prevent paint flow.
Increases the viscosity of waterborne paint strippers and organic solvents so that the paint stripper does not run off the surface of the workpiece.
Latex powder — it can improve the consistency and smoothness of the system in the wet mixing state. Due to the characteristics of the polymer, the cohesion of the wet mix is greatly improved, making a great contribution to the workability; After drying, it can provide adhesion to the smooth and dense surface layer, improve the interface effect of sand, stone and air holes, and enrich the film at the interface on the premise that the addition amount is guaranteed, so that the ceramic tile adhesive has a certain flexibility, reduces the elastic modulus, and absorbs the thermal deformation stress to a great extent. In case of water immersion in the later stage, it can also have water resistance, buffer temperature and inconsistent material deformation (ceramic tile deformation coefficient 6 × 10-6/ ℃, deformation coefficient of cement concrete 10 × 10-6/ ℃) to improve weather resistance. Youngcel Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose HP cellulose — provides good water retention and workability for fresh mortar, especially for the wetted area. In order to ensure the smooth progress of hydration reaction, it can prevent excessive water absorption of substrate and evaporation of surface water. Due to its air entraining property (1900g/l—1400g/lpo400 sand 600HP cellulose 2), the unit weight of ceramic tile adhesive is reduced, materials are saved and the elastic modulus of hardened mortar is reduced.
