1)Apparence : HPMC est un éther de cellulose non ionique, une poudre ou un granule blanc grisâtre, inodore et sans saveur,

soluble dans l'eau froide, l'acide acétique glacial, l'éthanol, le méthanol et le propylène glycol, légèrement soluble dans l'acétone selon

sur le degré de substitutions, pratiquement insoluble dans l'eau chaude, l'éthylène glycol et le toluène. HPMC est dissous dans un

mélange de 10 % de méthanol et 90 % de chlorure de méthylène pour former des solutions colloïdales.

2) La solution HPMC présente une activité de surface, une transparence élevée et des performances stables. Lorsqu'il est chauffé à certains

température, la solution devient trouble ou forme un gel floculant. Cependant, la solution redevient claire après refroidissement.
